Experience precise water quality monitoring with the Hy-Lite resistivity indicator. It is suitable for a multitude of applications, offering a selection of 9 set-points ranging from 25 kilohms to 5 megohms. The Hy-Lite features auto temperature compensation and the latest surface mount technology for superior accuracy unequaled in other ‘quality lights.’ Easy to see red and green LEDs display the status of the water relative to the set-point. In its normal above set-point operation, the green LED remains lit. The red LED flashes and the 70dB piezo alarm sounds when the water quality falls below the set-point. The alarm can be silenced using the membrane switch on the front of the Hy-Lite. The flashing red LED will continue until the resistivity is again above the set-point. The Hy-Lite probes are made of stainless steel with an ABS and Viton case, making them virtually maintenance-free and providing years of trouble-free operation. The Hy-Lite is designed for inline installation in standard threaded tees. It comes with 1/2” and 3/4” mNPT polypro fittings.
The Hy-Lite has an output port for remote operations. Using the Remote Cable, the Hy-Lite output port can be used to quickly set up a Remote Alarm, a Remote Relay, or both. The four-wire output can also be used to signal external equipment.
The operational power is a safe 12VDC, supplied by a plug-in style transformer. The transformers come in two styles. The HyTran-A transformer is 120VAC/12VDC with North American configuration. The HyTran-B transformer is 230VAC/12VDC with E.U. configuration.
