According to recent industry analysis, the water treatment market is projected to grow at a compound annual rate of nearly 7%, reaching an estimated $127.5 billion by 2032. The broader water and wastewater treatment sector — valued at $375 billion in 2025 — is on track to nearly double within the next decade.
Several forces are converging to drive this growth. For water quality professionals and equipment suppliers, the market trajectory is clear: demand for reliable monitoring instruments, advanced treatment systems, and compliance-ready solutions will continue to grow as regulations tighten and infrastructure investment accelerates.
