Application Overview

APPLICATION BASICS

Monitoring water quality is essential in countless applications. Water quality is important in our drinking water, but also important for industrial, commercial, medical, and lab uses.

Water supplies fluctuate, and treatment system performance can vary. Conductivity is the most convenient tool for measuring overall water quality. Although the measurement itself is not specific to a particular constituent, conductivity is often used to:

1) ACCURATELY CORRELATE THE CONCENTRATION OF A PARTICULAR CHEMICAL ADDED TO WATER OF PREDETERMINED CONDUCTIVITY. EXAMPLES OF SUCH APPLICATIONS INCLUDE:

Rinse Tanks
Fertilizer Control
Printing Fountain Solution
Process Water

2) MONITOR WATER QUALITY IN:

Water Supplies Water Purification Systems, i.e.: Reverse Osmosis, Deionization, etc.
Cooling Towers and Boiler Desalination Systems
Commercial/Industrial Process
Waste Water
